Life is real short when those I work with die. Well, she was 92 years old and lived alot longer than me. I got to know her for 9 months. She took two sugars and one cream packet for her coffee. She liked having her coffee as soon as she entered the dining room. Now I have one less thing to do...I miss doing...ya know...getting the coffee. Well, change happens. I feel abit tripped up...adapting.

I joined the Pacific Island Association "PIA". My first meeting was nice. So many cultures in one room. It was a potluck. The food was great. I ate my first raw fish. I really liked it. MMMM
My girlfriend and her husband went with me. They joined the same day I did. I found out there is a Northwest Hawai Times. Go to www.northwesthawaiitimes.com and you will see the news. Surprising to read; Senator Barack Obama was born in Honolulu who supports the Akaka Bill aka as the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act, which would give Native Hawaiians the right to form a governing entity, enabling it to negotiate with the state and federal governments over control of natural resources, lands and assets.

My home is a Homestay home for International Students. I have had a great experience with my first student this summer 2007. She is a computer student at the community college. She will be heading back to Japan August 25th. I will be getting another student on the 1st and my next student on the 4th of September. I will posting pictures soon.
